The Roads Committee has only planned to gravel the inhabited roads for this year's budget. Most of the "reclaimed" roads were inaccessible for so long, they had literal trees growing in them so the focus was put on making as many lots accessible as possible. Once these folks realized this board was going to actually invest their money into their roads, the past due balances started to get paid and quite substantially. Although the funds cannot be touched until next year's budget, we have almost doubled what EMPOA averages in a year since the close of the 2023-2024 fiscal year back on June 1st. Things are looking amazing for this next fiscal year's budget....
