School Bus Stops

EMPOA has built a school bus stop for the intersection of Lin Creek Rd and Wilhite Creek Rd.
I'd like to personally thank Mr. Jerry Brown who was kind enough to donate the construction materials and labor for this project. I will be adding a solar panel and motion lights to it in the coming weeks and ESCUD has offered to paint it white to match the ESCUD building. If there are any other locations where we may need a covered shelter for kids waiting for the school bus, please let us know as Mr. Brown has offered to build a few more for us.

probly could use one in the future@sourwood honey and sourwood intersection,my neighbor mentioned that and said you could put it right there on the corner of his lot.The bus won't go to the top of the hill,so the kids walk down to the intersection...Tia...

Hey Louie & Jerry. Told John how you guys built that bus shelter & UR plans for more. He reminded me of that stack of brand new 2’x8’ white fiberglass roof panels (new, but stored for past two years) out back! So, come up & get the whole wad—-about 40—-or pick up when and however many as you need them. Box of roof screws (around here somewhere!) go with. Maybe enough panels for 7 or 8 bus-shelter roofs?!...

Louie, Dawling. Please tell Jerry that these tough-as-nails, but lightweight, easy-to-cut (fiberglass? vinyl?) white roof panels could also make walls around the bus shelters. John will pick up a $50 gift card from Lowe’s soon. I’ll mail it to EMPOA. Around the 10th. Screws, hinges, a new tool, lighting supplies, signs(?), energy bars for builders(!?) Hugs and bye for now....
