This ,among other issues,is what happens when some open up a community to "resort" status,which btw I am against.I joined this Board to change,(or try to),some of the outdated and silly rules in the covenants,which I now am finding to be impossible without an input from everyone involved.By rereading these comments,seems to me that most of the land past this gate is private,so in my thinking,said owner of "private" land should and does have the right to install a gate.Since there are a few people who need access,(i e Hollernet and the Fire Dept),why not look into a coded gate,like they have at the Preserve,installed at the private property line? I personally have never been there,so I don't even know if this doable,i e ,terrain,location or cost,just an idea...comments welcome,,,mudd slingin and snide remarks will be deleted,so be nice......
