An EMPOA Elections Committee has been formed under the EMPOA board President's office to oversee independent counts and verification of ballots. Two additional volunteers are needed for these purposes.
Board members and Board nominees along with their spouses or immediate families are not eligible to serve on the Elections Committee. Volunteers should be EMPOA members in good standing.
Selected volunteers are required to be present at the English Mountain Volunteer Fire Department [Login to see the link] on the morning of July 13th at 7:00am to begin the official mail-in, online webform & emailed vote counts. Breakfast (and fresh coffee) will be provided to our volunteers for their provided services. Volunteers will also be required to monitor the collection of in-person voting ballots from 9:00am thru 11:00am. At 11:00am, volunteers will begin the official vote count for in-person ballots and calculate final totals.
