EMPOA Stickers?

Hey yall,

We recently visited our lot off Sycamore Ln. to get a feel for the land to start design and property layout. We opted to park at the top on alpine dr. and walk down since I didn’t want to get a tow truck out to recover our minivan off the cliff. We noticed a few signs requiring decals to be on the EMPOA roads. Is this something that should have been mailed to us? We figured since it was a short walk, we would be fine and we did not have any issues. But my concern is, for those who have lots with more remote locations, if they were to do the same, would they be towed, ticketed, ect.

Wow I've never seen those signs.....or stickers. Short answer is we have not sent out any stickers and nobody has been towed as far as I know. It does sound like an interesting idea once the rest of these roads are finished. I wonder how old those signs are

They didn’t appear too old, not sure if they were a deterrent from homeowners up at the top on John Sevier dr. or what. We had legitimate reason to be there so we didn’t pay much attention but it did peak my interest as to how we would access it later down the road.

Probably someone who thinks they own the whole mountain and does not want neighbors. It surprised me how much flak we caught for finally opening up these roads. The obscure recesses of Facebook are ablaze with nonsensical arguments of why its a bad idea. Ironically, most of the negative critiques are from those whom had no reservations on using the road funds for their personal gains over the years. God forbid everyone else finally sees a return on their investment. In my opinion, the roads committee should remove any such signs.

Hey , Is this the sign? This one is at Hickory Tree and Alpine. There is another at Alpine and Old Laurel, Swan Saddle, and Low Sunset. Also John Sevier and Silver Bell.

I've seen these since I've been here for about 3 years and have never had issues. So I don't think decal's are necessary.

Just thought I'd share.. LOL..

Guess EMPOA should either issue IDs & decals or take that nonsense down.

The Association at one time gave out membership cards to property owners. This stopped issuing cards when the Association hired Alpro to manage the business affairs for the Association. Long story short if you own property of course you may ride the roads to your property.

Pretty sure that’s identical to what’s up top! It’s not a bad idea, but it would be a bear to get them out to those with multiple vehicles who may not drive the same thing to their property every time.
